Combinations with Caspers Original Dressing

Puree the following ingredients into 16 oz of Caspers Dressing to create the following  dressings/marinades/sauces:

 

Spicy Thai Dressing: (You’ll never pay $5.99 for a bottle Spicy Thai Marinate again!)

2 tablespoons natural peanut butter

½ teaspoon cayenne pepper

 

Chinese Chicken Salad Dressing

2 tablespoons natural peanut butter

1 tablespoon minced ginger

½ teaspoon cayenne pepper

 

Greek Dressing

4 oz pitted Kalamata olives

2 oz feta cheese

1 tablespoon fresh oregano

 

Italian Dressing

1 teaspoon minced garlic

¼ cup packed fresh rosemary leaves

 

Seafood Sauce

6 oz Blackberries

Serve over any white-.‐fleshed fish & shellfish

 

Raspberry Vinaigrette

6 oz fresh raspberries

 

Vegetable Marinade & Dip

1 teaspoon minced garlic

3 oz bleu cheese

 

Southwest

¼ cup lime juice

¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper

½ cup packed fresh cilantro leaves

Casper’s Signature Green Salad

INGREDIENTS:

Caspers Signature Pic1 head iceberg lettuce, chopped
3.5 oz packaged wonton strips
3.5 oz package toasted sliced almonds
3 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
1/3 cup Casper’s Dressing

 

Method:

Combine all ingredients in large mixing bowl.  Shake Casper’s dressing bottle well  until all ingredients are blended and toss all ingredients together just before service.

NOTE: Add 16 oz chopped grilled chicken breasts for a Delicious CHINESE CHICKEN SALAD.

Casper’s Marinaded Blue Vegetable Crudite

(Serves 6-8 as appetizer)

Delicious snack for parties or the big game!

INGREDIENTS:

1 1/2 cups brocolli (cut into mini florets)
1 1/2 cups cauliflower (cut into mini florets)
1 1/2 cups baby carrots
4 cloves garlic
3 Tbs. crumbled blue cheese
8 oz. Casper’s salad dressing
1 medium cucumber (peeled, seeded and cubed)

Method:

Combine first three ingredients in large mixing bowl. Combine garlic, blue cheese, and dressing in a blender and pulse until creamy.  Toss ingredients together adding cucumber just before service.

Casper’s Greek Pasta Salad

(Makes 6-8 side servings)

INGREDIENTS:

1 lb dry BoGreek Pasta Picw-Tie Pasta, cooked & chilled
1 cup crumbled feta cheese
8oz box petite cherry tomatoes, halved & seeded
1/2 ea. red onion-thin sliced
4 ea. cucumbers, peeled, seeded and cubed
1 bunch finely diced parsley
6- 8 oz Caspers Original Dressing

Method:

all ingredients mixing bowl and toss together until well blended. Chill before serving, and adjust dressing as required.

Add 6 oz whole Pitted Kalamata Olives

Note:
Add 16oz grilled chicken or grilled sirloin strips to make 4 entrée salads.

Casper’s Classic Caesar Salad

(Makes 6 side servings)

Ingredients:

1 head Romaine LClassic Caesar Picettuce (or 2 romaine hearts) – chopped into bite size pieces
2 cups sourdough croutons*
4 oz cup freshly grated asiago cheese
4 oz Casper’s Caesar Originale (add more to taste)

Method:
Combine all ingredients in mixing bowl and add dressing and toss minutes before serving.

*Make you own croutons!  Cut ½ Sourdough Baggette into bize size cubes and put in mixing bowl.  Sprinkle with 1 teasoon granulated garlic & 1 teaspoon kosher salt. Add 1 tablespoon melted butter with 1 tablespoon oil and toss well.  Bake in 350 oven until golden brown.  Let cool.

Note: Marinade 16oz Chicken Breasts in Caspers Aged Balsamic Vinaigrette; grill and cut into bite size strips and add to above recipe for 4 entrée size Chicken Caesar Salad.

Casper’s Caesar Pasta Salad

(makes 6 side servings)

Ingredients:

1 lb Penne (or Ziti or Bow-Tie) Pasta – cooked, rinsed & chilled
4-6 Roma Tomatoes, seeded, sliced & quartered
6 oz Whole Pitted Black Olives (or Kalamatas)-cut in half length-wise
1 each Medium Red Onion – thin sliced
4 oz Grated Asiago (or Parmesan) Cheese
6 oz Casper’s Caesar Originale Dressing (or more to taste)

Method:
Combine all ingredients in mixing bowl and add Caesar Dressing and toss until well blended.  Best results if allowed to chill 1-2 hours- re-toss and serve.

NOTE: Add 16 oz grilled chicken breast strips for 4 servings of delicious CAESAR PASTA CHICKEN SALAD.
